I picked it out over the Canon 550d and I'm very glad I did. This is my first DSLR, and for beginners it's a treasure! I chose Nikon because it's one hundred times easier to use! Although there are many functions, everything is straightforward. can serve as a replacement for an expensive DSLR, and is an excellent device for the price. The pictures are stunning, even when taken with my hands.
