I have used other Biokleen products and have been happy with them. The company uses plant-based cleaning products, uses renewable energy sources and does not test on animals. The label says this carpet and rug shampoo is stain resistant and softer on floors. This is the 64th floor. oz Citrus Essence Carpet Shampoo bottle comes with a soft microfiber towel. To use, first vacuum and then pre-treat stubborn stains. For home use with a rental car, 2-4 full caps per gallon of water are needed. The rental car owner's manual will tell you how to clean the carpet. For commercial extractors, use 2-4 cups per 5 gallon tank. Dilute to 100 gallons with a stick. For commercial portables, use 2 full caps per 5 gallons of water. It has a neutral pH so no rinsing is required. The smell of orange is very pleasant, it smells of purity and naturalness. This is a very concentrated formula that is gentle on my hands. When I cleaned the area with Biokleen, my carpet turned out to be dirtier than I thought it would be. I poured it onto the fabric to work on the stains and it did the job well. If it works well on stains, then you know it works well on all carpets. I was very happy with this product.
