Bought for my daughter to go hiking. I don't know how durable they will be, but she swears they're the most comfortable socks she's ever worn and wishes she had more of them every day. I bought several for myself and she is right, they are very comfortable. At just over $6, buying enough for everyday use can be a bit more expensive for a pair.
