I bought this to hold my smart pen for my Boox Note Air tablet that I bought. It's a great tablet, but it got low marks due to the pen's poor magnetic retention. This was one of the ways some people solved the problem. Since I had to wait for my tablet to arrive, I didn't have a chance to test it earlier. It held my pen up my sleeve well when tested, but I didn't like how unwieldy it got. I write a lot about what was the reason for buying a productivity tablet. The grip with this sleeve made my arm tire easily compared to a grip. I also tried using it with the Samsung Lite grip I bought to see if a thinner grip could make a difference with this case. no I believe that while it holds food on the tray you sacrifice the pen diameter by making it much wider and heavier. If you write a lot, you should consider this before buying.
