So when I got this I was given instructions on how to assemble it, especially the "lampshade". I haven't read everything how to put it together. It's a bit tricky because when you take it out of the box, I had to turn the lampshade upside down and put it in. That's because they don't need to read the instructions because yes my lampshade would have turned out that way too so you have to turn it upside down and it works and then add a bulb and it will be lower and inside the shaded part . My lamp is sturdy and I just love that you can add two USBs on the side in addition to a plug. I also love that the bulb that comes with the lamp just lightly touches the stand on the silver button and it changes from low light to medium light to bright light and since I have it on my bedside table it will certainly very bright, so bright that I don't even have to turn on the light in the room. I'm so happy with my purchase, I just didn't know at the time that this was my best Revain purchase!
