I love, love this "quilt" if you can call it that. It's more like an oversized double throw. That's exactly what I wanted. It closes fully with no protruding legs to keep you warm when everyone else needs AC in arctic conditions! I washed in hot water and tumble dried on high to prevent shrinkage. It turned out even softer than before washing, gave a feeling of brittleness. If he flinched, I couldn't tell. Now I'm short so someone taller can see the difference. It's so convenient. This is a single layer cotton fabric, so it's thin. It does exactly what I want, protecting me from the cold without making me hot or sweating. Also great for sleeping. If you move a lot while you sleep, it may confuse your legs due to the thinness and softness. I don't know, but I can see where it might be if you do. Although this does not detract from the quality of the product. That would just be a personal preference. I have the Lines Blue version. This is a very nice understated look. The blue goes well with my colorful floral print bedspread (when I'm not using it). Overall this product is well made, washes and dries great, does what it says on the tin... temperature controlled comfort and I would consider this a good buy. This supplier's description and information for this blanket is complete and accurate. Since the cold weather hasn't set in yet, I'll have to wait and see how a heated room compares to a cooler room.
