For cutting scissors they are not bad and do their job

As for scissors, they do their job and cut cleanly. It's a little heavy in my hand, especially for my hands, it's quite big, but for me it's the full size sewing scissors, so normal use should be fine. My pair in particular has a screw that can feel a little sticky at times, but I use it often (I've cut lots of fun print ribbons for bows and accessories).
