    This does the job but isn't as user friendly as the Fujitsu Scansnap

    I bought this - it works OK but if you're in the market for a great scanner, pay the extra $50 and get it The Fujitsu Scansnap does the job but isn't as user-friendly. I have had two Fujitsu Scansnap and they are great. This gets the job done, but isn't as user-friendly.

    The latest models experience significant paper feed problems within months.

    ATTENTION - I have used the 3125 and its predecessors for many years. In the past they have been stable and very functional scanners, especially for under $350. HOWEVER. We have bought 6-8 of these in the last 18 months. Each of them from these batches experienced significant paper feeding problems within 3 to 6 months or less. If you clean the rollers and carefully adjust the very sensitive paper pressure arms, this can be remedied, but becomes unusable at ever shorter intervals. Replacing the

    Doesn't match Kodak Scanmate i1120

    The only thing I DON'T LIKE about this Xerox scanner is the mechanism that supposedly adjusts the machine's paper feed to the width of the document being scanned. From day one, the paper guides were tight and difficult to move. The scanner works great but only if the feed guides are set correctly and that is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. The paper does not feed straight and can be damaged by the feeder mechanism. Another thing is that - in my opinion - the only good thing about the included Abbyy PDF…

    Software installation failed

    When I first started looking at this scanner, Paperport was there. When I got the scanner, it didn't include a paperport. When I searched the reviews I found a few users who said they received the Paperport software with the scanner and I see the reviews date back to 2012. Could this scan have been the same since 2012?     Not so good. for scanners

    The software is clunky and very slow. The "One Touch" is ridiculously annoying to use. The scanning speed is not that good. I have bought 7 other Fuji Scansnaps and there is no competition between the two items. I even had our offsite hosting company review the Xerox - he said it's ridiculous and not well suited to what we need it for.     Works ok but some problems.

    Like every scanner I've used in the past, it usually shows a "problem scanning" the first time I try to scan, but then works fine. Other scanners usually made several attempts to get the scan to scan correctly. I'm having some trouble scanning 10 or more pages. I'm not sure if it's due to the weight of the paper or the scanner. I needed to scan 5 pages or less for multipage documents.

    It's the worst document scanner ever bought

    It's slow to respond when you press scan. It scans color pages in black and white pixels. To compare to set up. When you call support about a setup issue, the support agent feels silly and talks to you like a kid when you ask questions. I had it with this machine. I would not recommend this product to my dead grandparent.

    When I first saw this scanner, it came with a port paper. When I received the scanner, it did not include a paper port. Looking through the reviews I found a few users who said they had Paperport software with a scanner and I can see the reviews date back to 2012. Could this scan be the same one from 2012?
