This applies if you have a car with a black interior. No complaints yet, goes well with my magnetic safe. I vaguely remember reading reviews complaining about the lack of magnetization. Yes, a case is required for all magnetic safe accessories. However, they offer a sticky option for non-magnetic cases/phones.
