I bought these gel filters to improve the outdoor lighting of my house during various holidays. I placed the orange-purple gels on different lights outside my home and noticed that they barely changed color. Although these filters matched the seller's description, I had to double, triple or even quadruple them to get the color modification I wanted. Because of this, I wasn't able to add them to as many lights as I had hoped. Some other reviews have mentioned using these gels as screen filters for laptops or phones and I can absolutely say they are great for that use. , and are of great importance in this case. However if you want to change the color of the spotlights for theater or home use you can invest in a higher quality gel filter or order at least 2 packs so you can stack them on top of each other.
