Threadripper 3rd gen supports 88 PCIe lanes, but try to find a motherboard that supports 88 PCIe lanes. Gigabyte is just lip service to overhead. I'll call BUNK. 1st and 2nd generation Threadrippers supported 64 PCIe lanes and these motherboards had 64 PCIe lanes. Once a week after turning on the computer I have blank screens. I have to do a hard shutdown and then turn it back on. During the loading process, I have to keep pressing the Delete key to get into the BIOS. And you know what, like clockwork, once a week it wipes my BIOS settings and I have to spend 20 minutes trying to get the settings back to where they were. Oh yes, I tried downloading the settings to a USB stick. When booting after the next BIOS crash, the drive or file was not recognized as soon as I saw the drive. Why can't anyone else make a decent WORKING motherboard?
