UPDATE ON MY UPDATE: Everything is still great with this charger. No overheating. Perfection. So glad I found it! UPDATE: I've been using this charger for a few months now and everything is still good. Doesn't overheat, doesn't catch fire, it's great and I won't hesitate to buy it again! Nevertheless 5 stars! This is the second "replacement" charger I've bought in my MacBook Pro's life - the first was eaten by a kitten, the second by a puppy. You would think I would learn, but no. In any case, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an OEM charger and was appalled by the bad reviews about fire and co. on counterfeit chargers on the market. . Then I came across this charger and decided to risk it. It's sturdy, gets a little warm during use, and even has handy travel accessories. I'm not sure what the manufacturer did, but even the magnetic tip design seems more secure than my original charger. I've only used it a couple of times so far, but I'm incredibly happy with it. And I keep it in a travel case. Because pets.
