Review on πŸ”„ Convenient and Environmentally-Friendly: Hudson Exchange Reusable Easy Buckets by Joe Glass

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Time for brave boys

Several reviews state that this lid will not fit Hudson 5 gallon buckets even though both are made by the same company. weaklings! Suitable if you have strong wrists. You have to fight him first. Once it's on the bucket it kind of adjusts and it's easier to take off and put on from that point. It's also a little easier to remove the cap at this point than most 5-gallon caps, which sometimes require a plastic removal tool. This lid is made of a thinner, more flexible plastic that is relatively pliable compared to the hard plastic found in most lids. If you ask me, all those 5 gallon bucket lids are way overpriced. I'm giving this lid 4 stars because of the misconception it created and because it actually has less plastic than regular lids. Also, the delivery is very slow. I order them with Hudson buckets and the lids come a week after the buckets which is very annoying. UPDATE December 2019: I ran out of buckets and bought one from Lowes with a Lowes top and lid (made in the USA). ) is terrible in comparison. First, the Lowes lid is thin plastic and doesn't fit as tight as this one. It lacks reinforcement ribs around the periphery to stiffen the lip and hold it in place. Revain sold "used" Hudson cases in broken packaging (12 pack for about $2 each) so I bought them and am pretty good with cases from now on. Cases are like new to me! The cover reads "Letica Corp. Rochester ML.
