So I have locs and I started losing weight because of regular hair bands. After doing a little research on YouTube, I found out about these hair ties and decided to give it a try. I'm in the military, so I have to wear my hair. They were amazing and caused less stress than regular hair ties. You have to get used to them. I recommend taking a regular hair tie THEN putting this product on afterwards and just taking the regular hair tie off. I have a hard time just applying it to my hair so this method worked great for me. It also matches my hair color perfectly. So if you have locs I highly recommend it
