I replaced them on my 2009 Honda Civic and they were fine until I got a serious check engine light (P0606) after about 12,000 miles. : ECU malfunction). I searched the internet and found that other owners had the same problem and changed the spark plugs to fix the problem. However, in her case, the replacement was very overdue and I kept up with the maintenance. Anyway, I check the spark plugs and they are completely worn out. The tips were eroded, resulting in more than 1.5 times the maximum spacing, and they looked burnt. See the picture for details. Anyway, I replaced them with Denso spark plugs and that seemed to fix the problem. I also had to replace the ignition coils because I was overloaded with bad spark plugs. If they were a lot cheaper it would make sense, but the price was close enough that I figured it was just a discount or something. Spring. Hope this helps someone avoid the headache.
