I bought these speakers so my 83 year old mother could hear her church service on her iPad mini. It works really well and she even asked me to turn down the volume on the iPad because it was too loud for her and she can't hear well. The only thing I can fault is the little crackle that comes from what happened only 2 times during their 1 hour service this morning. At first I thought she was letting the speaker touch her blanket in her lap and the movement was making noise, but I stood right next to her and watched but it didn't happen. The volume on the iPad was turned down so I really don't know what it was. We are very happy with it. It definitely serves its purpose and I would buy another one if needed.
