Weather Realfeel 17 degrees Fahrenheit (actually 30F) plus 10 mph wind. I ran 7.6 miles. The first 5 miles I had no wind so I can't tell you the difference. The last 2.6 miles I had wind and really felt energized. I weigh 155 pounds and am 5 feet 6 inches tall. I used it as a middle layer. I wore a short-sleeved baselayer and a windbreaker. For those who sweat a lot, a base coat might not be necessary, but for me it's perfect. At the end of my run in New York's Central Park, there was hardly any sweat on my sweater. But after taking it off for a while, I noticed after running that the sweater was wet on the outside, not the inside. Hmm cool how that was! I didn't feel it when running. Sweat has escaped or evaporated, or the base layer has absorbed most of it while running. Images shown are of the inside of this quarter zip sweater. Amazing design. Also, the front pocket fits a phone without a case much easier than with one. I have a Samsung S9+ shown here next to the pocket and it has to be tucked in a bit because it barely fits. although I prefer to keep the phone off my chest. This is shown for visual effects. I ran with a key and a keychain in my pocket. I think the bag is a great addition. many uses for this bag in my future runs, hikes and anything else that might come up. Although the sweater is expensive and we bought full price for 89.99, we found it elsewhere with a 25% discount, it's still worth full price. Got this as a gift from my wife and compared to the other quarter zips I have this is the only one that has both warmth and sweat-wicking magic. I can only recommend it and will buy it again in a different color. I have orange and it's amazing!
