Review on 🔥 Immerse Yourself with the Oculus Go Standalone VR Headset - 32GB by Luke Cotton

Okay I got it with no great expectations but I saw a few reviews on Reddit and a few other sites explaining how good it is for the media. After using the device for a few days I think the following: - It's really handy, especially if you have a big head or wear glasses, even more comfortable than the Vive or Rift! - The glasses insert is not required for YOUR glasses lol. So many reviewers are wrong. You have the option to order prescription lenses for $79. When you order them, use the lens spacer with TEMI! Not your personal glasses! - They are so comfortable you can easily sleep in them - you remember where you left off. So if you're watching media on the web, Hulu, Netflix, Plex, Youtube, Vimeo or whatever, just throw it back and it will pick up where you left off. Great when you are traveling or need a break and find yourself in a depressing environment - 3D Audio SUPURB. Anything, even non-optimized content, sounds incredible. Your ASMR videos on Youtube will never be more alive. As you move your head left or right, the sound adjusts and changes as if the person is actually there. I would only recommend this for ASMR lol! Finally, VR/3D/60FPS/Binaural/4k content has never been so amazing. For $199 you can fully immerse yourself in almost any reality you can imagine. Combined with sound and a decent field of view, you're definitely in for a real treat. Combine this with (Brain(dot)fm) for audio transmission and get ready to sink into a trance of wonder and excitement! - Setup was very easy! I take my hat off to whoever came up with this. Very detailed pictures and videos for each step of the installation process made the process easier and faster. I had some trouble pairing with the remote because it was updated during the install process, but the app has since been updated. CONS: - Battery life sucks. Don't expect to last more than 1.5 to 2.5 hours at best. Depending on what you're doing, it can also get hot. If it gets too hot, you can't charge and use it at the same time. Oculus also doesn't recommend charging and using it at the same time. It seems fine for basic media consumption, but I would definitely only run it on battery power for gaming. Some people also build battery packs for this thing. That's how bad the battery is, lol! - Storage. If you're planning on keeping this thing, save yourself the extra money and spring for the 64GB version. When this thing hits 2GB of free space or less, everything starts crashing and slowing down to a minimum. There's also no easy way to know how much storage you have, so be careful if you can only afford the 32GB version. It really gets limited when it gets close to the limit and you try to do something. There are NO Google apps for that. Sure, the browser works GREAT, but if you want a top-notch YouTube app with easy sign-up and the ability to manage your queue from your phone, think again. Google doesn't want anything to do with the Oculus platform, so anything Google-related (Maps, Youtube, Search, Chrome, etc.) has to come from the web. Password management is a joke. If you have good knowledge of passwords, get ready to type your super crazy complicated long login with crazy virtual keyboard. Luckily it's a one time thing but FOR GOD SAKES PLEASE DEVELOP AN OCULUS MOBILE KEYBOARD lol! The browser and video player are really good and really bad. For example, if you queue a 360 YouTube video for a friend, remove the headset, and then put it on your friend, it will END the video and force your friend to learn a complex user interface on the fly instead of just exiting what you left. off with 360° video maximized in 360° view
