For many years we used cheap plastic plates when traveling and finally decided to bite the bullet and buy real plates. We debated the pros and cons of various tablets for a long time and finally settled on this one. They have a small rim (which we like), they are very durable and easy to clean. When they arrived, my wife moaned and moaned. And then we hid them until we went camping. she loves them She's not sure how well they handle very hot food (she plans to make hot pads for them), but loves how easy they are to clean. Obviously they are very durable and will accompany us for many years. And my wife, a neat person, loves how shiny and new they are (and we know they stay that way).
