Review on FXR Mens Leather Gauntlet Glove by Corey Evans

Ridiculously warm gloves

These gloves are incredible, and by incredible I mean incredibly amazing. They have tons of padding, but you can still grab the handlebars. There's a padded area on the back for extra protection and cushioning impacts from tree branches or your mate's bed. Seams on the palm are stiff but flat (FLAT!) so they don't compromise grip or feel (some high-performance gloves have raised seams that cause grip issues or space between glove and cuff) and allow heat from the heated cuff to pass through ( which you only need on the coldest days). I used these gloves at the beginning of my trip in -16 degrees (f) and by the afternoon I had my hand warmers on their lowest setting (+15 degrees (e) temperature). After lunch the rod heaters were completely off and +15 degrees felt like nothing for 60 miles, a quick run up towards the end of the day when your hands get tired from the gas/brakes/throttle/brakes that day trip, you stop, to refuel, and when you take your gloves off, wonder how cold it is outside since your hands have been warm all day (not usually the case for me). If your sled goes to northern Wisconsin, Minnesota, or UP im January (or maybe Ice Planet Hoth), when it's below freezing outside and the wind is chilling to a million degrees below zero, these are the gloves you need!

Pros
  • Thinsulate 300g back of hand/200g palm and palm. Full grain cowhide
