This is not a refreshing toner that preps my skin pores for serum(s), moisturizer or foundation. I love a toner that refreshes my face after cleansing, tightens my pores and preps my skin for whatever I put on next with a matte finish. Not this tonic. I need a quick absorption so I can go about my business. This toner needs its sweet time. I don't want to feel it sitting on my skin. I don't want to know she's there. As far as I know it could be water. Because it looks like water, looks like water, smells like water. I know it's NOT water because it doesn't absorb or evaporate. It doesn't do anything for me - it doesn't refresh, there's no visual or "scented" feeling, and I don't see any visible results. The directions say to gently tap, tap, tap gently to allow the product to be absorbed into the skin. Well, I wince and tap my face with my fingertips for quite a while before the stickiness wears off. And then it doesn't really go away completely. Pretty pastel green bottle.
