On one side only. Useless.

I wanted to laminate the paper to make it waterproof. All previous laminating pouches I've bought have been double sided, so you can actually protect the document. Just insert a document by the edge, close it, and it seals the entire sheet of paper, making it waterproof and looking perfectly aligned and tidy. This is the definition of paper lamination: sandwiching the paper between two protective pieces of plastic so that the paper is immune to most damage. However, they only laminate one side. What's the point of laminating only one side? This exposes the back to stains, water, damage, etc. It's also very difficult to make sure it's straight because there's nothing to bump the paper against. If you try to attach another one to the back, it won't be perfectly centered and the adhesive side on the open side will have dirt stuck to it and look rough. Super disappointed. The results are off-center and there is exposed adhesive that attracts dirt. Now the shield I made is messed up and I need to make a brand new one and buy laminating pouches that actually protect both sides. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're serious about protecting your paper and just want to make it stiffer or something. If you actually wanted to protect 20 sheets of paper, you might as well just make 10 since you would only be using 10 of them to cover the back. Rip off. They should be advertised as a single sided clear sticker, they don't actually laminate as they don't offer any protection. The paper is damaged by rain. boo!

Good product, especially if you don't have a lamination machine-it gets the job none.
