Review on Fromm Cotton Balls 200Piece DEE030 by Gina Abbott

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Both cotton pads and cotton pads suit me

This rating applies to both the cotton pads and the cotton pads available on this site. I am happy with both and find them to be at least as good if not better than similar Target branded products I have purchased in the past. I only use cotton balls to remove nail polish. . For this task, I prefer the thickness of cotton balls to cotton pads. I have to use a few cotton balls on each hand/foot, but that's partly because I use very heavily pigmented polishes and if I don't change the cotton balls regularly, old pigment will show up on my hands and feet. I would have to use multiple cotton balls of each brand. They stick together relatively well, even when removing glitter polish, and they're quite absorbent, so if I have nail polish remover on the counter, I can just run an extra cotton swab over it to remove it. (I also sometimes put some micellar water on a cotton pad and rub it under my eyes if I've managed to get mascara on my lower lids after cleansing my face. They're soft enough to use under my eyes, too.) Me use cotton pads for multiple purposes. First, I use them to apply toner. They are a bit thick and multi-layered and at first it sometimes feels like you've grabbed two when you've just grabbed one, as the edges aren't perfectly held together. However, once you understand this, you can get used to it and this is not a problem. Anyway, for toner application, they are soft enough to use all over the face. The other thing I do with them is use them with liquid makeup remover on both the eyes (eyelids/lashes) and lips. They work well for both. I use a separate product for each eye and a third product for the lips just to avoid cross contamination and product transfer. But they're cheap and disposable, so I can do it. I like that they're cotton so I know they're biodegradable and I'm not ashamed to throw them in the bin after use. Cotton balls and cotton pads are simple things, but I'm glad I found a convenient source to buy them in bulk and I'm happy with the effectiveness of both. I will definitely buy again.
