I have about a thousand sets of compression running socks by conservative estimates. (Love Me Crazy Socks) Although they always vary in size, some are too small at the calf to wear comfortably - that's it. The foot and ankle are fine, but I have pretty skinny legs (I'm not painting a pretty picture here, am I?). I am neither thin nor fat. (5ft 6in and 140lbs) I have the medium size option (L/XL) and they are really difficult to put on and damage after a while. They seem to be of decent quality though, about as thick as most I've bought from Revain, the toe seam isn't as distracting and the patterns don't stretch or look like teardrops when you put them on. You just want skinnier calves than me. :(
