I actually thought it only came with one shelf & thought it was kind of expensive. You get two! and I feel like that is very affordable for everyone. It comes with an instruction manual and a tape (paper) measure for the holes. I really like this addition to my door way. I have to say it’s not perfectly designed where the whole wooden part touches the wall unless there is heavier stuff to weigh down the wooden plank. The plastic part you put into the wall is a little thicker than the ones I used before. You need to level the screws where you see about three swirls out from the wall. If you don’t put the screws deeper the shelf will not be attached to the wall and dangle.
