I have this Umbrella Academy cosplay costume, but it's definitely good enough to wear to 'formal' and professional events later! The material feels strong and not flimsy, yet very soft and comfortable. My only complaints relate to (a) the shoulder pads in the jacket - I removed them immediately (by removing a few stitches on the inner lining and gently pulling out the foam rubber); the jacket itself is well tailored and hangs much better without it, and (b) the pants are too loose in the waist for me, even in a size XS; I need to modify them a bit so they don't sleep for more than 5 minutes at a time. I usually have better luck with Asian sizing; This suit is definitely more like an 'American' XS, so if you're very petite I would *not* recommend going up a size. However, everything has been said; 4 stars overall because the suit looks VERY stylish, is comfortable and the minor issues I have with it are amenable to easy do-it-yourself fixes.
