Lens error after a week

I have had 3 Canon PowerShots before and never had any problems. After a week of using this ELPH 360, the lens no longer opens fully. I didn't notice it at first as the lens was still opening when I pressed the power button. Then I noticed my photos were a bit dark in the corner because the lens cap was blocking part of the hole. You can still open the lens cap manually to get a sharp image, but obviously that's not ideal. Another problem is that there are 3 adjustment buttons on the top of the camera and it is very easy to accidentally flip the switch. I kept the camera in a soft pouch in my bag and flicked the switch many times. Aside from the normal camera setup, the other 2 setups are awful - one takes a few (LOTS) of photos and the other turns your photos into a short video. Both settings take up a lot of memory. So if you don't notice that the settings have changed, you'll run out of disk space in no time. Setting up and using Wi-Fi was also difficult. There were many steps to set up Wi-Fi, loading was slow (not because of internet speed) and the camera took a long time to 'think' after pressing the Wi-Fi button. I've tried using this feature, but wouldn't rely on it long-term.
