Totally unreliable

I bought this camera for a month trip to Africa. Almost immediately after the start of our trip, the lens stopped opening. It was totally unreliable. Sometimes it opened, but in most cases it only opened partially. Luckily I had a backup camera as it was totally unreliable. I would turn it on to take a picture and it would show me a partial image. When it worked the images were sharp and the zoom was great but it couldn't be used because you never know when it will work. Very very very…

Windows 10 Release for Digital Cameras

Camera functionality is fine. What is not normal is that it cannot connect to my PC via Wi-Fi. I've tried everything. I found on the internet that many others using Windows 10 are having the same problem. I ended up calling Canon support and after going through a long and complicated series of steps to resolve the issue (it was obvious the tech had dealt with the issue before and probably followed the script written for it), I was told it was a problem with my security software. I've heard it…

Amazing little camera

I bought this Canon Powershot ELPH 360 HS camera as a gift for my 76 year old mother. This is her first digital camera and she is very happy with it. It is very small and compact but has a 3 inch screen which is enough for those with poor eyesight. It is very well made and the photos I took for testing look very nice. I looked at different stores and websites and read a lot of reviews and this was the best camera for the price and I got the best reviews on camera review websites. If you're…

Lens error after a week

I have had 3 Canon PowerShots before and never had any problems. After a week of using this ELPH 360, the lens no longer opens fully. I didn't notice it at first as the lens was still opening when I pressed the power button. Then I noticed my photos were a bit dark in the corner because the lens cap was blocking part of the hole. You can still open the lens cap manually to get a sharp image, but obviously that's not ideal. Another problem is that there are 3 adjustment buttons on the top of the

Canon is a good thing, but I wonder if they're going too far.

Like the previous elf I had, this thing takes amazing point and shoot photos. When I walk around Disney World and see people using their phones, I laugh because they obviously have no idea that megapixels don't mean zoom when the only zoom you can do is digital. Optical zoom is the only way out and this camera has a wide optical zoom range considering its size. This thing fits right in my pocket. I can pull it out and turn it on as fast or faster than I can pull out my phone, unlock it, and get

I've had several Canon compact cameras. for many years and always impress with their reliability, user-friendliness and photo quality. I bought it for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Alaska because of its Wi-Fi photo sharing capabilities and 12x telephoto lens. Unfortunately, the photos I took from my Alaskan trip were some of the worst quality I've taken in decades, and the wifi didn't work. Picture quality. Photos on this camera aren't sharp and crisp, and low-light photos are underwhelming. The
