I highly recommend this product! I am 5'1, 128 lbs, 35 inch hips with a short waist. I purchased a large and medium size. The large fit loosely and rubbed against my skin. The medium fit snug and was much more comfortable - so I consider this item true to size (I wear a size 6). I am wearing the medium size in the after pic and love the subtle lift this product provides. I ended up exchanging the large size for another medium.
