Excellent phone system. I call it a system because it supports multiple phones. In our case, two plus the base unit. I bought this to replace a 5 year old base station that probably burned out from one of our many power surges. Just like I had before. Each handset is a speakerphone, can receive messages, hold calls, access caller ID history and even make internal calls. The handset has an LED that glows steadily to indicate connection and flashes when there is a message. The system is quite easy to set up, my wife did it with the help of a guide. What else do you need? I rarely make calls and don't use the phone book. I don't know if it's the phone or the system. If you still have a landline, this option is for you.
