CANNOT SAVE THE CODE AFTER DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE
The remote control can lose the code after disconnecting the car battery. My previous remote worked. Replacing the security module cost me $475 at a GMC dealership. (That's when the repair manager and I realized the real problem. Especially when we realized that the remote start function still started the car.
