I bought a Razen Kraken USB headset in July 2018 for about $45. It had pretty good sound quality (including a good mic) and was quite comfortable. It broke after two years and I assumed it was because it suffered from the layout of my old rig. So I bought a new Razen Kraken X USB in July 2020. Differences between new and old: The new one is about 33% more expensive, its quality is a bit poor compared to the old one and the build quality. well it only took 5 months for the frame to start clicking on the earcup despite being well cared for. Yes, the price has gone up and the quality has gone down. Currently awaiting a response from Razer Support but with very low expectations based on what has been read in other reviews. I'm also waiting for Revain to ship the new HyperX with an aluminum frame. UPDATE: After exchanging several emails with Razer Support (Razer Support is clearly trying to point out abuse due to poor quality) they just started ignoring my replies and sending an email stating they said they would close the case. HyperX update: happy so far
