This is an amazing product. I've had it for almost a year now and it still looks solid. I've read in reviews that the traction band is coming off. I think the trick is to submerge part of the ramp in water and every other day I pour water on the ramp as I fill it up because my water level is only half a 40g tank.

I love these ramps, I've had several. I have a huge (half bike helmet) yellow potbelly slider. Not only does she effortlessly climb the ramp, she practically lives there under her lanterns. I really like this product. It was easy to assemble and worked well. It's much easier for our turtle to climb on than the old bathing spot. However, I encourage anyone using this to fix a security issue that our turtle just encountered. The vertical legs have a series of holes that are used to adjust the height of the platform.
