I really like this product. It was easy to assemble and worked well. It's much easier for our turtle to climb on than the old bathing spot. However, I encourage anyone using this to fix a security issue that our turtle just encountered. The vertical legs have a series of holes that are used to adjust the height of the platform. Unused holes remain open underwater. Our turtle, a male red-eared turtle, got his claws caught in one of the holes and couldn't free himself. Luckily I found him in time and was able to free him. I recommend plugging or plugging these holes somehow. Many aquatic turtles, especially males, have long claws on their front legs. Needing a quick fix, I used leftover 3/4" tubing from an aquarium canister filter. I split it lengthwise and then cut it to length. I then wrapped the split tubing around the holes that were submerged were visible. Keep a firm grip on the supports. You can also plug the holes with aquarium safe silicone and weather permitting I will leave the turtle outside for a few days while I do this. Other than that it's a good product and we do will soon be ordering a larger size for our older aquatic turtle i will just plug the holes before it enters at that time.
