You need this bag. this review. My friend recently lost her mother and she gifted me her memory foam mattress. My husband and I already have a Casper but wanted a second bed for the guest bedroom we are building. Since the room wasn't ready, I bought this bag to try. In the worst case, he loses his seal as soon as we bring him into the house. We had to get him out without hiring a car and hurting our backs. This is incredible value for money! You need more than one person to deflate and roll, but it worked FAST! I didn't take exact measurements but I think the mattress shrunk to about 4 inches. The only issue we had was our vacuum hose didn't fit in the vent so we had to hold it in place. The attached photos were taken today (04/07/2021) and it has been in the closet since the beginning of April. It keeps its seal 100%. I've checked it regularly and after sealing it for two months we've bought a second one for when we need to move our Casper. .Most if not all foam mattresses have a removable cover so it can be washed. These suitcases have zippers. I recommend lining/covering the zipper with a washcloth or a folded pillowcase before vacuuming the bag. I did this so he wouldn't put a hole in your pocket. The plastic is quite thick and durable, I don't think the zipper will damage it, but better safe than sorry. I hope this helps you with your purchase decision!
