These shelves are small. I was starting to shrink and wanted some simple but cute floating shelves for bowls, mugs etc. By three I have tea boxes at the bottom and my google house, bowls, mugs and a tin of cutlery are stacked in the middle. and there are three containers of oatmeal/cereal on the top shelf. For those who work in the studio, these small spaces are a lifesaver PLUS these things are very easy to set up. To be honest they don't seem to be the most durable. They feel like they will split in half if you put enough on them. But they've held up surprisingly well in recent weeks. For the price I will order more items like books or seasonal decorations in the future. You really can't go wrong with this. They are stylish, light and versatile. I would definitely recommend it, but if you don't know how to use a power drill you might ask someone for help.
