Not for silent or easy gliding

I bought these for chairs with a tiled floor. I wanted the chairs to be able to move easily - not like on ice, but softer than the loud noise of a wooden chair rolling on a hard surface. Small covers are easy to put on, but if you want the chair to move easily (e.g. getting up from the table), no! I had to lift and move the chair. So if that's what you want, that's great, just doesn't work for what I wanted. I returned them immediately.
