Before switching to the wireless ones, I used wired Sony MDR-XB50AP headphones, which I have been using for two years and am pleased with to this day. My friends recommended this model when they cost almost twice as much as it does now, so I made the decision to buy it after much deliberation. I chose this model because Sony has a strong track record of being a manufacturer of headphones that are of a high quality and are sold at a price that is reasonable for the level of quality offered. After everything was said and done, I do not believe that I came out a loser. You can hang them safely around your neck, despite the fact that the magnets are rather weak. This is the reason why the headphones sometimes detach from your neck and dangle from side to side, which is an unpleasant sensation. The headphones also come with multiple pairs of ear pads, which you can choose for yourself as part of the package. Yet in general, having a high-quality sound and being simple to operate, in addition to having a long battery life, can make up for a lot of other flaws. I am completely content with the acquisition.
