This set is one of my favorites from the LEGO Architecture range. This is an advanced build so I wouldn't recommend it for kids. This line is really geared towards adults anyway. It was a really great and challenging project! When I got to the end I knew all the bricks were placed correctly and it was built perfectly (it took me about a month to assemble). The bricks are so dense that you can hardly see the seams between them. However, I have a few suggestions: 1. Part #4211052: the sample says I should have received 6 pieces; actually i got 5. The Imperial Japanese Hotel featured in this Lego Architectural series is the second of three hotels that have occupied the site for almost a century and a half. This model has over 1000 parts and is 100% symmetrical or almost symmetrical. I enjoyed putting it together. The proportions are accurate and it looks better when finished than I expected. When I was done I had less than 10 extra parts. Nothing is missing. I don't think I have a large open table or family room to organize the pieces the way most recommend.
