This is an extra large shower head. If you stand under it when the water flow is good, you feel like you are in the rainy season. that's exactly what we wanted. We use this on a Grohe shower faucet where one side is used for a hand held shower and this beauty connects to the bathtub side of the faucet (allowing for a higher flow rate to the head than a regular shower). Nozzles distribute water in an even rain layer. We have no problem with water flowing anywhere but down like some people do. However, there are many 12-inch models with similar heads at a much lower price. I doubt I would pay $186 for any other of these without checking out the cheaper options first. long gone.
