I love this french press. Just the other day I found a puddle of coffee underneath. After careful inspection, I noticed a slight crack at the bottom of the glass. I took such good care of it because it's made of glass, it can only be hand washed and not put in boiling water. I just missed my window to come back. I expected years of use from this. I had a 1 serve Bodum French Press that lasted 10 years. That is what prompted me to buy these. Now I have to resort to buying another French Press. This time, however, I'm going for stainless steel. INVULNERABLE.
