I'm giving these gloves a C not because they're very warm, but because they warm your hands comfortably enough that you don't lose your dexterity. This is the best you can expect from heated gloves. I walked 45 minutes at 28 degrees and at 17 degrees. They work well at both temperatures. Be sure to read the temperature setting instructions carefully. First you need to turn on the battery. When you turn on the heater, it starts at the maximum temperature and then defaults back to the minimum temperature after a few minutes. Then you need to set the desired temperature. If you turn off the heater, you'll also need to climb in and disconnect the battery. I've tried several heated gloves over the years and this is the best deal for the price I've found. Regular thermal gloves (not heated) cost at least twice as much as Cabela's.
