They are quite bulky but I think I should have expected them. My problem is that the auto shut off is too early. I first bought them for my husband but they were too small for his hands and he had a hard time putting them on. We use them for my evening walks with my dogs and they keep my fingers and hands warm, actually four fingers out of five, I found I had to keep turning them on. Very annoying when walking two dogs in the dark.

Based on the poor descriptions I thought it had a different battery than the one that runs on 3 AA batteries for each glove. They get a little warm, but what can you expect from the performance of 3 batteries. A little disappointed. There is also no instruction manual - no instructions at all - NULL. These gloves should have been my life saver. Unfortunately, after 1 day of snowboarding, the left glove tore at the seams. When I first got them I checked to see if they were on and found they worked, but unfortunately I never let them get hot. As soon as I got up the mountain I wanted to turn them on, but they just never got warm. They lit up red and went off on their own after 20 minutes. I'm giving these gloves a C not because they're very warm, but because they warm your hands comfortably enough that you don't lose your dexterity. This is the best you can expect from heated gloves.
