Great Camera: Digital Cameras

This camera should satisfy all but the most demanding of users. It can be used immediately (after charging the battery), but I recommend reading the manual to get the most out of your camera. I spent about a month reading many digital camera reviews and concluded that the Toshiba M70 was the best bang for the buck. The only other camera that looked the same or maybe a little better was the Olympus 3000/3030, but it cost $100/300 more considering the discount. Everything you need is in the box as long as you have a USB port and are using WIN98 or later. This camera can be used both as a point-and-shoot and in auto exposure or shutter priority modes. Even a manual is available but not explained in a well written manual. You should read Toshiba's FAQ page to find out how to set this up. I checked tech support beforehand and they answered the phone in a reasonable amount of time. with only 1 voicemail option. The people on the other end were very helpful even though I haven't bought yet. I called again after the purchase and got the same answer. I've only had the camera for a few days but I've tested it quite a bit and the photos are of high quality. Printed on a Canon 620, 5x7 print quality was excellent (I'm supposed to print up to 8x10 but haven't tried it yet.) TIFF is not available but better JPG quality on camera resulted in the high quality photos that I wanted. If you are looking for professional reviews and opinions, visit megapixel.net. This is one of the best digital camera test sites I've found.
