I work in security for a large hotel in New York. I've been using these shoes for about 6 months. This is my third set. I use them for their low price ($42 per pair on average) and comfort. Although comfortable, they don't last more than 4-5 months and then suddenly the rubber sole comes off the shoe (usually when walking). I was tired of using tubes of shoe polish to fix them. They seem to rip where the underside of the leather is bonded to the rubber sole, so you don't even know they're failing until you let go. Go on a quest for quality shoes that you no longer need to replace like clockwork.
