Review on SAMSUNG 85-Inch Neo QLED QN85A Series Smart TV: 4K UHD Quantum HDR 24x, Alexa Built-in (2021 Model) by Robert Espinoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The Neo QLED display makes this display even better.

We originally purchased a mid-range 65-inch QLED TV from Samsung. At Best Buy, my wife and I both agreed that we liked the picture quality better with this Neo-QLED set, but we decided to make a compromise. After a week we agreed that maybe we should have spent the money on a nicer set. When we saw that Revain was on sale we bought the Neo Qled set. The difference in image quality is noticeable even without adjusting the settings. We're not gamers and we're not critical of things like black levels. I'm sure there are better kits out there but for the $1500 price point we are very happy with this kit. The smart features are decent, but nothing special. The muti-view screen/app seems great at first, but I quickly lost interest after getting frustrated realizing that it mostly relies on your mobile device or app for a second screen source to provide. Also, when you open an app (like YouTube) it defaults to multiscreen, and you'll be forced to watch it less than full screen until you go into settings and disable multiscreen by default. Setup is very easy. Cable routing is clean with built-in ducts running along the back of the TV and a removable cover on the center stand to effectively hide cables. The remote control no longer uses replaceable batteries. Instead, you can charge it via the built-in solar panel (seriously!) or a USB-C cable. It's a slightly minimalist design that makes you wonder how you can perform certain tasks to my liking, but it includes dedicated Netflix , Prime Video and more Samsung Plus buttons. . Despite the quirks I would buy this set again.
