I ordered a size 5T (or 110) for my son who is 3ft 7in and 43lbs and it fits perfectly. The outer material is like neoprene which was important to me as we have pets and fleece would work too. a lot of hair. With this material we don't have this problem. The inside is soft and overall the jacket is warm enough to be worn at a bus stop when the air temperature is 30-40 seconds. I agree that the zip is very short and the only way to "close" the front of the hood is to press two small velcro tabs into the small slits. My son has problems with this. I am satisfied with the purchase for the reasons above.
