Color fades instantly after wearing for more than 20 minutes making an ugly ring around my dog's neck

I like that the metal holds up well when you need it so don't worry will pop if my dog suddenly flinches and it's durable but as much as i wish it was a good collar use a stainless steel collar rather than gold. This is my second. Got the first after a few days of wearing the gold has worn off leaving a ring around my French neck, the second did this in about 1 hour it's great for photos looks very nice and chunky but shouldn't to be repeated, just shouldn't be used for photos for a long period of time, and it would give 5 stars if it wasn't. not boring color was the whole reason for the purchase
