Review on DMC 61253 Peacock Embroidery Scissor by Shantel Griffin

I am really impressed. I never wanted to spend money on embroidery scissors in various sewing and needlework shops because they were very expensive and seemed unnecessary. They are great for all those thin layers of embroidery thread and make for a much cleaner and quicker cut than any thin tailor's scissors. Also, working on craft projects somehow becomes a lot clearer. Threading an embroidery needle with a tiny hole after trimming the floss was a lot easier. It was a great price and I trust DMC on almost everything. ADDITIONAL NOTE: My thumb gets stuck in non-rounded finger holes up to the 2nd knuckle. This is very frustrating as I know my fingers are not meant to be in a hole but sometimes it still happens. Maybe next time I'll try to buy DMC embroidery scissors with regular handles if they make them.
