Great product, best quality.

For me, I don’t need Fi-Wi and gps. The price tag would be cheaper if I could buy without these functions. In my practice, these are not necessary toys, I tried Fi-Wi, it’s interesting, but unnecessary, and battery consumption increases dramatically. In general, this model f / a is a great option for work. Dust-moisture-protection, this is for top models, but there is other money. I can only recommend this f / a. By the way, the transition from crop requires replacing memory cards with more capacious and high-speed only when shooting in RAW). It is logical, but you don’t want to spend extra money. Otherwise, it will slow down when loading from the buffer to the card, and may stop shooting.

Pros

Full frame, correspondingly less noise compared to crop, the ability to shoot at a higher sensitivity, a wider dynamic range, accurate focusing (I work only on the center point), including in very difficult conditions in low light. Very good processor, fast with a good algorithm for processing pictures. Of the 10D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 70D that I had, the best picture in terms of noise, color reproduction. plus additional costs for hard drives (I have a large archive), more noise. I don’t need high burst shooting speed anymore, I work with flash, it introduces its limitations. The main advantage of this f / a is a very good picture, when switching from 50D a colossal leap in image quality. A tenacious battery. Regarding the small number of focus points, I repeat, I work only with the central one, I think that the process should be manageable. At the moment I have a 6D, 70D, 5D MarkIII, and so, in terms of image quality, it is not inferior to the 3rd brand in any way, I compared it, I didn’t find a difference. An excellent f / a for work, if you don’t bother with prestige. Very soft shutter response is a definite plus, there is less shake when shooting. Synchronization of 1/180, compared to 1/200 on brand 3, is purely arbitrary, the image is formed when the flash is fired, and its speed is much higher, and the difference is not large, not fundamental, rather a marketing ploy, to reduce the possibilities compared to the 3 mark.

Cons

Short shutter life, broke at 97 thousand. It is not convenient to make corrections when working with a flash, it is hidden deeper than on 50D and 5DMark III, and the metering is worse than on brand 3, when working with a flash, the error is higher. In my opinion, it is light weight and small in size, personally it is inconvenient for me, but it can be a plus for someone.
